ANNOUNCER:
To perform the injection, you will need the NUCALA prefilled syringe. You will also need an alcohol
swab, a gauze pad or cotton ball, an adhesive bandage, and a sharps disposal container. These materials
are not included with NUCALA, so make sure you have them on hand before you inject.

Take out the prefilled syringe
Take the carton out of the refrigerator and make sure the security seals are not broken.

If you do not have an FDA-cleared sharps disposal container, you may use a household container that is:
• made of heavy-duty plastic;
• able to close with a tight-fitting, puncture-resistant lid, without sharps being able to come out;
• upright and stable during use;
• leak-resistant;
• properly labeled to warn of hazardous waste inside the container.

If you dont have an FDA-cleared sharps disposal container, you can use any household container that is
made of heavy-duty plastic; is able to close with a tight-fitting, puncture-resistant lid; is upright and
stable; leak resistant; and properly labeled to warn that hazardous waste is inside.

When your sharps disposal container is almost full, you will need to follow your community guidelines
for the right way to dispose of it. There may be state or local laws about how you should throw away
used syringes.

• Do not recycle your used sharps disposal container.
Keep your sharps disposal container out of the reach of children.
